Return Policy

Items may be returned for a full refund within 30 days of the purchase date. Preorders: Items that are on a pre-order are eligible for return within 30 days of the ship date. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping when returning items.

Hyperkin will administer a full refund (not including shipping fee) for an item that has not been tampered with and with unopened packaging. You are responsible for opening a ticket with our RMA department before sending us an item, otherwise we will not accept the item. You are responsible for tracking your item once it's sent to us per your delivery service. If item's packaging is opened, you are obligated to pay a 15% restocking fee.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Warranty

General Warranty Information

Hyperkin offers a limited one (1) year warranty for “Hyperkin” branded products.

Registration

Warranty coverage lasts for one year from the date of product registration by customer. Customer must register product within two weeks of purchase.

General Coverage

This warranty covers manufacturing defects, design defects, and software defects and errors (“bugs”). The Hyperkin Warranty is only valid for purchases in continental USA (Excluding Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories).

Standard Use

This warranty is valid only for standard use of the console. Any use that is not within the design specifications of the product nor stated within the instruction manual or packaging will void warranty. Any damage or malfunction due to third party devices or accessories is not covered in this warranty. This warranty does not apply to products used for any industrial, professional, or commercial purpose.

Damage and Modification

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. Any damage by a natural disaster – including but not limited to water, shock, or electrical damage – is not covered by this limited warranty. This warranty does not apply to products that have been damaged by abuse, misuse, modification, tampering, or by any other cause not relating to either materials or workmanship.

Replacement and Repair

All sales documentation and receipts must be included with any returned product. If a customer wishes to redeem this warranty, customer must contact customer service to create a RMA ticket. Customer will be required to ship product to Hyperkin at customer’s expense. Any returned product that must be replaced and falls outside the limited warranty coverage will be subject to a charge of 50% of the product MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price).

Global Warranty

This warranty covers manufacturing defects, design defects, software defects, and errors (“bugs”). The Hyperkin Global Warranty is valid for one year. Product must have proof of purchase from an authorized retail partner, with date of purchase visible. Warranty will cover shipping back to customer, however shipping to US facility has to be covered by customer.
